My name is Sampson W. Gaye, founder and director of Care Mission, Inc. and a promoter of children education rights and girls education and empowerment.
I grew up in Nimba county before attending college in Monrovia. After completing my degree, I returned to Nimba and spent many years working for various non-profit organizations.
My wife and I have made a home in Ganta, Nimba County with our children. We are excited to embark on this new mission- creating our own organization to help the youth in our community.
Libby Casavant is the president of Care Mission in the US, where the non-profit is registered as a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Libby and Sampson worked together in 2013-2014 on water, sanitation and hygiene projects in Nimba County. They kept in touch after Libby returned to the United States and Libby continued to be impressed by Sampson’s drive, passion, and abilities. She is happy to be a part of the Care Mission organization while working full-time in the US as a water resources engineer.
