We are passionate about making a great educational opportunity for children in the Ganta community, but we need your help to do it! All donations will be used to improve the school and offset costs for our students. If donating from the U.S. please note that Care Mission is a 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization.
Capital Improvements
A portion of your donations go to building a new school on land that was purchased in 2024. This includes hiring local craftsmen, laborers, and engineers as well as buying materials like cement, sand, rebar and zinc. As we continue construction we may continue to make small improvements to our rental campus as they are needed, such as construction of two additional classrooms in 2025, construction of a playground in 2020, electrification in 2021, and creation of a computer lab in 2022-23.
Scholarships, Meals, and Teacher Support
Every year we use donations to offset the cost of school lunch, teacher support (training and salaries), and to provide scholarship support to students in need. This helps cover the gap between what families can afford and what it takes to run a quality school. Our teacher training program also gives teachers the opportunity to earn higher degrees, doing what we can to address the teacher shortage in Liberia.
